Dozens of families participated throughout the morning in the Mobile Day Family Day that took place in different facilities of the Science Park and the Magical Media.
The Mayor of Lleida, Miquel Pueyo, together with the Deputy Mayors Toni Postius and Jordina Freixanet and the Councilor Mariama Sall visited the different activities, all of them with great participation.
Pueyo remarked that there are activities for all ages “with a very high profile of empowerment, of teaching, from the youngest to the oldest that technology is a resource, that there are different levels of use and no one must stay out of the possibilities it offers "
The Cedico has hosted the activity "Let's play with the bee bot", a programmable and educational bee robot for preschool, a family workshop on how to create an APP, a workshop to learn how different free applications for Android and Apple related to different areas of music learning and a workshop for adults on how to protect mobile information.
An introductory workshop on robotics using the Lego Spike (Sorolla Cloister) and an introduction to technology have been held in the cloisters of the Science Park, which has taken place in the Gauguin Cloister.
A train has connected the Science Park with the Magical Media, where families have been able to participate in the cartoon workshop "Walkers" where children and adults and adults draw and animate a character that is then visually recreated in a projection. There was also an urban dance workshop-show "A City of Shadows" in which the public can enter the stage and participate in building a collective lighting installation.
The Children’s Traffic Park has also been open throughout the morning as a leisure supplement for children who have taken part in Family Day.
