Starting up of the electronic, on 31 December 2009 was launched the electronic fulfillment of the law 11/2007 of citizens' electronic access to Public Services (LAECSP).

First Lleida LAN Party.
The first Jornadas Universitat-Empresa (University-Business Conference). These conferences have since been held on a regular basis. They are an important venue at which businesses, students, lecturers and researcher teams from the University of Lleida can meet and exchange ideas.
Launch of the Guarà project. Creation, development and maintenance of municipal management environments based on an open source code and adapted for interoperability with the other public administrations and those working to their standards.

Lleida’s first online administrative service allows some administrative procedures to be completely resolved via internet. At present it is possible to do more than 600 different procedures.

Technological remodeling of the Lleida City Council website, incorporating new features such as self-management of content, publication and automatic sending of news to the media, etc.
Telecentre services are set up. Lleida currently has 20 Telecentres.

Lleida creates L'Observatori TIC (an ICT Monitoring Organisation) Based on annual surveys, the municipal authority monitors the current implementation of ICT situation in the homes and businesses of Lleida.
2000
www.lleida.org is launched. This portal, managed by the Lleida City Council, provides email services for over 15,000 local citizens.
1995
Lleida creates www.paeria.es , Spain’s third municipal service web after those of Barcelona and Madrid.
1988
The city’s first telematic information service (videotex/Ibertex). Lleida was the third municipal authority in Spain, after Barcelona and Madrid, to introduce this service.
1981
The city council creates an independent department for computer services.
1977
Lleida City Council launches its first computerized services.
